If you’ve passed by Elliot Street lately, I’m sure you’ve seen our beautiful patio tables and chairs out there! This weekend (May 15-17) we are open for cocktails and appetizers, but with some cooperation from Mother Nature and a few final logistics, we hope to be serving out new-and-improved Deck Menu, complete with Sangria, expanded draft beer, and wine specials geared for optimum outdoor enjoyment! And following that, lunch all summer Weds-Saturday. Watch this space for menu details and official opening date.
Join us on Tuesday, May 12th at 6 pm for an intimate 4 course dinner with Bill Sweat, co-founder of Winderlea Vineyard and Winery. We look forward to pairing 4 of Winderlea’s boutique wines (three different Pinot Noirs and one Chardonnay) with some of Zach’s finest cooking. Inspired by the lively palate of flavors in these wines, as well as Winderlea’s commitment to sustainability, the menu will include an excitingly spiced duo of fish tartare, house smoked Long Island duck breast with local bitter greens and pomegranate reduction, and locally raised emu with a maple glaze. We’re hoping for some foraged ramps, too!
Bill can talk us through the not-so subtle differences between some of the winery’s single vineyard bottlings, as well as tell us about the process of becoming the 2nd winery in Oregon (and the 4th globally) to be certified as a B Corp. Come be inspired by his story and enjoy a great meal with friends!
We’re initially limiting the dinner to 15 so it can be an intimate group (although given enough people on the wait list we will consider expanding….). These are expensive wines, so at $80 per person (excluding tax and gratuity) it’s a bargain.

We’re back from vacation with new art up by our friend E. Joseph McCarthy. It gives the dining room a nice airy look for spring and summer! Come see it (and see more of Joe’s work at his web site, www.ejosephmccarthy.com). We’ve made a few changes to the menu to welcome spring (hello, tuna tartare!) and are looking forward to opening some bottles of rosé to go with it. Stop by soon!

We are taking reservations for Thanksgiving (Thursday, November 27th) dinner. Afternoon and early evening seatings available at 2:30, 3:00, 4:30, and 5:00 pm. The menu will feature Zach’s classic Turkey Roulade with apricot sage stuffing and all the fixings. Other entree options include Salmon Zinfandel and our classic Filet of Beef. Of course there will be plenty of classic, locally prepared pies on offer for dessert!
Meg is planning some special wine pairings in addition to our full wine list and Bryan’s signature cocktail offerings will be available from the bar.
